Orders are downloaded from your Value Added Network using your EDI Communication Software.      When the orders are received by the EDI Communication Software the orders are exported to flat files and placed into a directory for pickup.   From the flat file, we load the orders into our Bridge program tcEDI.  In the normal process, EDI orders coming in from an EDI Partner do not have corresponding Customer information nor Item Numbers and therefore  tcEDI runs the orders through a cross referencing  process to make the orders ready for load into your order entry/accounting system.  Error logs are generated to show the orders successfully matched as well as those that failed.   Once the orders are successfully matched, they can be loaded into the order entry system in batch mode with the push of a button.  The selected orders are uploaded into your order entry system and a report is generated showing the order number assigned to these orders.   Once the orders are successfully loaded, you can now process the orders as normal.
